
Miles Kelly is an American basketball guard who has entered his final year of eligibility with the Auburn Tigers in 2024. The 6 ft 6 in shooting guard started playing basketball at Parkview High School where he averaged 19.1 points, 5.8 rebounds and 2.0 steals during his junior campaign. He played three seasons under coach John Collins before transferring to Hargrave Military Academy during his senior year. As a senior, Kelly averaged 17.3 points and was named the 2021 McDonald’s All-American Game nominee. He was rated a four-star recruit and was ranked No.87 by 247Sports, according to the Auburn Tigers website.
Following his varsity career, Kelly embarked on his collegiate career with the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets in 2021, where he saw action in 30 games as a rookie. As a sophomore, Kelly led the team with 476 points while also grabbing 112 rebounds in 33 games including 27 starts (via ESPN). In the 2023-24 season as a junior, he scored 446 points, grabbed 175 rebounds and dished out 59 assists in 32 games ( all starts ). However, after three years, Kelly decided to enter the transfer portal and the 2024 NBA Draft. But he withdrew from the draft and transferred to Auburn for his final collegiate season.
