Norchad Omier is a forward for the Baylor Bears. Omier is in his fifth year as of the 2024-2025 season. At Arkansas State in the 2020-21 season, he played in 23 of the 24 games and started the final 22 contests. He also earned the First Team All-Sun Belt honor and became the first player from the program to do so since the 2006-07 season. While he was in his redshirt freshman year in 2021-22, he played in 29 games and started 28 of them. Omier managed to bag Sun Belt Player of the Week four times that season.

As a sophomore at Miami in 2022-23, he played in all 37 games and started 36 of them. He averaged 13.1 points, 10.0 rebounds, 1.3 assists in 28.8 minutes per game. During his junior season, he started 31 games and averaged 17.0 points, 9.97 rebounds and 1.2 assists in 30.6 minutes per game. Omier was also honored with Preseason All-ACC First Team in the 2023-24 season.
