Notre Dame star Hannah Hidalgo seems to be enjoying the holiday break after dismantling Loyola MD, 97-54, in their last game. With their next matchup against Virginia on Saturday, the 5'6 guard made sure to greet her fans on the holidays with "A Christmas Story" post on the Fighting Irish Instagram account.
Since sending out her well wishes to the Notre Dame faithful, fans have reacted positively to Hidalgo's greeting.
"Love this…You are too cute little lady. Stay smooth," one fan said.
"B-ball grinch?," another expressed.
"I love this! Becoming a huge Hannah Hidalgo FAN!," a user commented.
With conference games approaching, Notre Dame fans are hopeful for continued success for both Hannah Hidalgo and the entire team.

As the team heads into the holiday break on a high note, the now 10-2 Fighting Irish will aim to replicate their success in the upcoming Atlantic Coast Conference games. If they succeed, a deep run in the national tournament in March can be expected from this iteration of the Notre Dame Fighting Irish.
Hidalgo and the rest of the team will return on Sat., Dec. 29, on their home floor against the Virginia Cavaliers.
Hannah Hidalgo is having a stellar sophomore season
After a standout freshman campaign, where she averaged 22.6 points, 6.2 rebounds, 5.5 assists and 4.6 steals per game, Hidalgo is exceeding expectations in her sophomore year.
The dynamic scorer is currently putting up 25.8 points, 6.6 rebounds, 3.8 assists and 4.3 steals per game in the 2024-25 season, all in pursuit of a national championship for the Fighting Irish.
