AJ Dybantsa is generating excitement and debate among college basketball fans with his college decision. He cut down his list of schools to seven in August and as part of his decision-making process, Dybantsa made an official visit to Kansas on the weekend.

On Sunday, the 6-foot-9 small forward, who plays at Utah Prep, shared several photos and a video from his Kansas campus trip in a Jayhawks jersey.

"Rock chalk ❤️💙 ??" Dybantsa captioned the post on Instagram.

Kansas fans were thrilled to see the five-star recruit donning their school colors but not everyone was excited about the prospect of Dybantsa potentially ending up in Lawrence next season.

"Nah UNC twin," a fan commented suggesting they want the star player to commit to North Carolina instead.

AJ Dybantsa shares the main factors he considers while deciding on schools

AJ will probably make his decision in February next year as said by his father. He will play his final year of high school basketball at Utah Prep this coming season.

The forward shared three major criteria he is considering for picking the best college.

"One is family-orientated," AJ told KSLSports.com. "I’m going to be away from my family. Two is the development. Obviously, I want to be a one-and-done. And three is just a winning program. I want to be there hopefully for only one year so winning a National Championship is my goal."

AJ Dybantsa's father Anicet Sr. has been helping with the recruitment. He said that his top seven schools were chosen based on his dad's discussions with the coaches.
