Zeke Mayo NIL deals

Zeke Mayo is a collegiate basketball athlete playing his senior year as a point guard for the Kansas Jayhawks. Mayo began his collegiate journey with the South Dakota State Jackrabbits where he spent three seasons before joining Kansas in 2024, according to the Kansas Jayhawks website. During his freshman season, he averaged 9.6 points and 2.9 rebounds and was named to the 2022 Summit League All-Newcomer Squad. The following season as a sophomore, Mayo led the team with 18.2 points, 6.2 rebounds, and 3.4 assists and was selected to the NABC All-District First Team. Mayo enjoyed the best campaign in his junior year when he was honored with the Summit League Player of the Year award after he averaged a career-high 18.8 points with 5.7 rebounds and 3.5 assists per contest.

He concluded his career with Jackrabbits as the seventh-high-scoring player in the program’s history with 1,576 points. After three seasons with the program, Mayo transferred to Kansas for his final year of eligibility. As of February 2025, Mayo has averaged 14.3 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 3.0 assists in 28 games (via ESPN). Before his collegiate career, Mayo attended Lawrence High School where he averaged 21.2 points and 6.8 rebounds during his senior year. In 2021, he was the co-recipient of the 2021 DiRenna Award which is given the top basketball player in Kansas City. Mayo was also named Sunflower League Player of the Year and earned a first-team all-conference selection.
