Team bonding is something that will always make a good team great and a great team elite and that is what we can see behind the scenes with the Colorado Buffaloes. Ahead of their Alamo Bowl game against the BYU Cougars, the Buffs took a trip to the local SeaWorld.
In the YouTube video of the "Well Off Media" channel, Deion Sanders Jr. bets two-way star Travis Hunter $100 that he will not be able to make a basket in the carnival game. Hunter makes a hysterical jab back at Sanders with a smile.
"100, that's all you got?" Hunter said (8:20).
Both Travis Hunter and Shedeur Sanders attempted multiple shots at the game but failed to make the basket. However, coach Deion Sanders made a basket on his first attempt.
What team is the best fit for Travis Hunter?
No matter how the Alamo Bowl pans out, it appears that two-way star Travis Hunter is going to be entering the 2025 NFL draft. While he is expected to be at the top of a lot of NFL team's draft boards, teams are going to try to trade for a top pick to have a shot at drafting him.
However, the team that is going to need him the most is a team that has a quarterback already since a pick that high is going to need to have the key position already situated. The New England Patriots make the most sense as they selected a quarterback with the third pick in the 2024 NFL draft when they chose Drake Maye.
Travis Hunter provides a playmaker to the Patriots lineup and could be a solid wide receiver if he is going to play both ways in the NFL. He proved to be a solid receiver as he won the award for the best receiver in the nation and finished the regular season with 92 catches for 1,152 yards (12.5 yards per reception) and 14 receiving touchdowns.
The Patriots are more in need of an offensive skill position player as their roster is currently constituted, but having Hunter occupy multiple positions on a 53-man roster each week helps the coaching staff have the ability to activate someone else who could impact the game as well.
