Who is representing Syracuse at 2024 ACC Media Days?
Along with coach Frank Brown, Syracuse quarterback Kyle McCord, defensive lineman Fadil Diggs, defensive back Justin Barron and running back LeQuint Allen will represent the Orange at the 2024 ACC Media Days. Notably, this will be the first time all players are at the event from Syracuse.
As per reports, Syracuse will have its Media Day on Thursday. Brown and his players will reportedly get on the podium by 11 a.m. ET. This year's ACC Media Days are being held at the Hilton Charlotte Uptown Hotel in Charlotte, North Carolina.
List of Syracuse players attending ACC Media Days this year:
- Kyle McCord, QB
- Fadil Diggs, DL
- Justin Barron, DB
- LeQuint Allen, RB
McCord transferred to Syracuse after the 2023 season after playing three years at Ohio State. The quarterback played two seasons as a backup and had limited game time before getting the starting role with the Buckeyes last season.
During his three years at Ohio State, McCord racked up 3,505 yards and 27 touchdowns on 252 passes. He earned a Third-Team All-Big Ten selection in 2023.
As he's appearing at the team's Media Day, McCord is likely to lead the team's offense for the upcoming season. It will be interesting to see how the signal-caller fares in his first season at Syracuse, along with coach Brown.
This will also be McCord's fourth collegiate season, so the player might consider entering the NFL draft next year. Hence, an important season awaits.
