Getting the passing settings correct in EA College Football 25 will give you a distinct advantage over the competition. While the base settings for passing the football are not too shabby, there are a few settings that players can tinker with in order to get the most out of the passing settings.
Let's take a closer look at a few of the passing settings in EA College Football 25 that will make you a better passer and help sustain drives.
Best passing settings in EA College Football 25
Placement & Accuracy
All of these are going to be in the Game Options tab and are under Passing Mechanics, so it is not too difficult to find. This setting is listed in EA College Football 25 as "enabling a timing element for perfect accuracy on bullet passes on top of visual targets to control the pass placement and power."
This allows the player in EA College Football 25 to essentially lead the receiver as a quarterback as it gives you the most control of the passes.
Pass Lead Increase
This really gives the user the ability to control the football when filling up the reticle. The higher this is, the more power will be placed on the football when filling up the passing bar when throwing a pass.
Having this higher will lead to more overthrows, so putting it on small will help the user to be even better as the ball is thrown.
The pass lead helps players control how far ahead of the receiver the football will be thrown, something that can help get additional yards and throw away from the defense.
Reticle Speed
This is something that often gets overlooked in a lot of pass settings in EA College Football 25. This will tell the user how quickly the bar is going to fill up when attempting to throw a pass.
Having this at around 16 will help give you some time to complete the pass accurately. But it also gets the ball off quick enough when facing pressure from an incoming defender that broke through the offensive line protection.
