The Michigan Wolverines are the reigning national champions, but the 2024 season could be difficult. The Wolverines lost several key players to the NFL as well as head coach Jim Harbaugh to the Los Angeles Chargers.

Sherrone Moore took over as the head coach of the Wolverines, who are given the fourth-best odds of winning the Big Ten. Entering 2024, here are three Big Ten games that could give Michigan some problems.

#1. Ohio State, Nov. 30

The most difficult game on the schedule for the Michigan Wolverines is the final game of the season as they go on the road to play the Ohio State Buckeyes who are one of the favorites to win the national championship.

Michigan is a massive 10-point underdog in the early line against Ohio State as many expect the Buckeyes to blowout the Wolverines in what should be a lopsided game.

#2. Oregon, Nov. 2

The Oregon Ducks have the second-best odds of winning the Big Ten behind the Ohio State Buckeyes, and this is the second-hardest game in conference play behind Ohio State.

The one positive for Michigan is the fact this game is at home which should give the Wolverines a boost. However, oddsmakers still have Oregon as three-point favorites to defeat Michigan on the road.

#3. Washington, Oct. 5

The third-hardest conference game for Michigan in 2024 would be against the Washington Huskies, as it is a rematch of last year's national championship game. Luckily for Michigan, they do not have to play Penn State in 2024, which would have been the third-hardest conference game, but they do have a non-conference game against Texas which will be a tough game.

Michigan is favored to win the game, but the Wolverines are going on the road for this game which could cause some problems due to the long travel to the West Coast.
