The No. 5-ranked Georgia Bulldogs (5-1, 3-1 Southeastern Conference) will be on the road to take on the No. 1-ranked Texas Longhorns (6-0, 2-0) on Saturday. This Week 8 matchup will be a huge test for both teams as it features two top five teams.
Longhorns quarterback Quinn Ewers returned last week during their 34-3 win over Oklahoma. However, the Bulldogs have already faced two top 15 teams (No. 14-ranked Clemson in Week 1 and No.4-ranked Alabama in Week 4) this season and should be prepared for another high-ranked team. They are a dangerous squad and could hand the Longhorns their first defeat of the campaign.

The Texas vs Georgia game is the marquee matchup of Week 8, and the Longhorns are the favorites. However, some Georgia players could pose a serious threat to Quinn Ewers and his teammates.
#1 Dan Jackson
Texas' offense is capable of putting up a lot of points. It has not had a game this season with less than 31 points, and it has scored more than 50 three times. The Bulldogs' defensive unit will need to be strong for them to win. Defensive back Dan Jackson is one of their key defenders.
In six games, Jackson is leading with 25 solo tackles and falls just short of the team lead in total tackles with 31. He is excellent at shutting down the opponents' wide receivers and even has an interception this season.
#2 Malaki Starks
Defensive back Malaki Starks is another big threat to the Longhorns' offense. Starks leads the team with 32 tackles, 21 of which are solo efforts. He is a relentless defender who has improved drastically since the first two games of the season where he only had three total tackles.
#3 Tyrion Ingram-Dawkins
After getting Quinn Ewers back from injury last week, the last thing the Longhorns want is for him to take big hits. One of the biggest threats to that is defensive lineman Tyrion Ingram-Dawkins.
Although he only has 12 tackles, including nine solo efforts, he leads the team in sacks with three. He consistently puts pressure on the QB, and if he can reach Ewers, he could seriously impact the game.
