Justus Terry is widely regarded as one of the best defensive linemen in the class of 2025. He currently plays for Manchester High School in Georgia and is ranked No. 7 in the 2025 ESPN 300 and is the No. 2 defensive tackle in his class.
There is no shortage of takers for Terry, and it will be interesting to see where he eventually ends up. Before that, we can analyze some of his potential landing spots.
3 potential landing spots for Justus Terry
#1. Georgia
Earlier in June, Justus Terry explained that he de-committed from USC to remain closer to his family in Georgia.
"Georgia’s been in my heart," Terry said, via Jed May of UGA Rivals. "They never left, to be honest with you.
"I feel like I have a lot of family members and I’m big on family. When it comes to my decision, I want to be close to my family but at a good school that can still develop me."
Georgia remains one of the top programs in the country, and Terry will certainly be an interesting option for coach Kirby Smart. The Bulldogs have already won two national titles under Smart, and playing for a team that is already competing for major honors would do wonders for Terry's draft stock.
#2. Alabama
Although Nick Saban retired from his coaching job at Alabama in January this year, the Tide are in good hands with new coach Kalen DeBoer at the helm. Terry also made a trip to Alabama to check out the program on June 21.
Terry also posed with DeBoer on his visit to Alabama, and the 6-foot-5, 275-pound athlete looked in good spirits. Terry reportedly has an offer from the Crimson Tide, and he just needs to say yes to the program and stick to his decision if he wants to work with DeBoer next year.
#3. Oregon
The Oregon Ducks have been a team to watch out for since Dan Lanning was appointed as head coach in 2022. He has led the program to a 22-5 record in the past two seasons.
Justus Terry could monitor Oregon's progress this year before deciding whether he wants to be a part of Lanning's plans. The Ducks are tipped to make an entry into the College Football Playoff this year, and it would make sense for Terry to commit to a program that is making waves in the NCAA.
