EA Sports College Football 25 has been one of the most anticipated sports games in a long time but the player ratings have some people feeling disrespected. Whether it be feeling a little too low for their production or just which players are ranked a little higher than others.
Here's a closer look at some of the EA Sports College Football 25 ratings that seem a little too low for some players.
Most disrespected player ratings in EA Sports College Football 25
#1. Cade Klubnik, Clemson (87)
Clemson Tigers quarterback Cade Klubnik is perhaps the most disrespected quarterback in EA Sports College Football 25. Last season, he finished 290-of-454 (63.9%) for 2,844 yards with 19 touchdowns to nine interceptions, which is a solid season.
However, he is behind guys like Riley Leonard and Cameron Ward, who had worse 2023 college football seasons. This doesn't seem right as Cade Klubnik should arguably be above those two.
#2. Jordan Waters, Duke (84)
The Duke Blue Devils have a super senior at the running back position who also has some of the same issues as Klubnik in EA Sports College Football 25. Jordan Waters had a great season last year as he had 153 rushing attempts for 819 yards (5.4 yards per carry) with 12 rushing touchdowns.
However, he is ranked behind running backs like Mark Fletcher Jr. and Ulysses Bentley IV, who had worse 2023 college football seasons. It will be interesting to see if an update has him climb up the rankings for the running backs.
#3. Ike Larsen, Utah State (88)
Ike Larsen may be the highest-rated player for the Utah State Aggies but he possibly deserves to be higher than an 88 overall. He showcased his abilities in the secondary last season as he finished with 102 total tackles (58 solo, 44 assisted) with a forced fumble, four interceptions and six pass deflections.
Larsen's ability to be an elite tackler and play well in the secondary should have him at a 90 overall. While it is difficult to be "disrespected" by an 88 overall, that just seems too low for a player of his caliber.
#4. Alex McPherson, Auburn (83)
Alex McPherson is the kicker for the Auburn Tigers and his 83 overall is seventh amongst all kickers. However, that does not seem to be accurate as he has 96 kick power and 95 kick accuracy.
In his two years kicking at the collegiate level, he is 19-for-20 on field goal attempts and has not missed any of his 49 extra-point tries. His only miss was more than 50 yards away. It is arguably difficult to say there are a few kickers better than him, let alone six.
#5. Ryder Bentley, UL Lafayette (46)
Ryder Bentley is the lowest-rated player in EA Sports College Football 25 at just a 46 overall. He is an offensive lineman and saw multiple offers in high school to play Division I football but a 46 overall just seems too low.
