The Florida Gators have a gauntlet of a 2024 schedule, and making the playoffs will be extremely challenging.
Florida opens its season against Miami and then plays Samford. After Week 2, the Gators' schedule gets tougher as it includes games against Texas A&M, Mississippi State on the road, Tennessee on the road, Georgia on the road, Texas on the road, LSU, Ole Miss and Florida State.

#2 Oklahoma Sooners
The Oklahoma Sooners are joining the SEC this year, and the school has a rigorous road to making the playoffs.
The Sooners are +450 to make the CFP, as they have notable games against Tennessee, Texas, Ole Miss, Missouri, Alabama and LSU.
#3 Mississippi State
The Mississippi State Bulldogs will likely be a fringe bowl team in 2024, and their path to the College Football Playoff is challenging.
The Bulldogs are +7500 to make the playoffs, which implies just a 1.3% chance of it happening.
Mississippi State does have notable games against Texas on the road, Georgia on the road, Tennessee on the road and Ole Miss.
#4 Arkansas Razorbacks
The Arkansas Razorbacks are expected to struggle in 2024, and their chances of making the College Football Playoff are slim to none.

The Gamecocks will have to go to Death Valley to play Clemson, and they are on the road against Alabama and Oklahoma. They also host LSU, Ole Miss and Texas A&M, which will be tough games.
