Fans were thrilled to see Nick Saban take on the role of an analyst after the announcement of his retirement in January.

What started with the 2024 NFL draft, Saban's journey as a host on ESPN's "College GameDay" has been a success so far.

An example of one of his in-depth analyses is when he laid out the factors that are contributing to Dan Lanning's Oregon being a dominating team, but also emphasized the issues that might keep the team from postseason success.

During the September 6 episode of "The Pat McAfee Show," Saban said:

“I think they’ll continue to get better, but I do think they have some issues on their team,” Saban said. “Their offensive line is not that great and that’s a problem. It’s a problem for the quarterback, who is a really good player, and they have really good skill guys. They made enough good plays in games to be a dominant team, they just have too many bad plays.”
“I’m talking about tackle for loss, penalty, get behind the sticks on offense, now you’re playing not the way you want to play, but the way the other team wants you to play. And I think that’s been their issue, and they haven’t been able to play the kind of defense I think you need to play."

Pat McAfee confronts Nick Saban about potentially leaving ESPN's "College GameDay"

Fans couldn't stop laughing about a hilarious moment caught on camera in between segments on the August 31 show.

The viral video was the perfect representation of how different McAfee and Nick Saban are as individuals. While the former Alabama coach was seen sitting quietly, possibly thinking about something important, McAfee was captured dancing and enjoying his party of one.

The clip caught fans' attention and many swore that Saban is ready to quit the show because of how different this environment is for him.

However, McAfee took the opportunity to confront Nick Saban about his plans on the show, to which the former head coach humbly replied:

"You've [Pat McAfee] made it a lot easier on me, though," Saban said. "Sitting by you makes it easier for me, because I'm less anxious because you are very aggressive in whatever we're talking about and whatever we're doing. I didn't know exactly what word to use there."

The College GameDay crew is set to travel to Columbia, South Carolina for the Gamecock's matchup against LSU on Saturday, with Dawn Staley as their guest picker.
