Alabama Football’s Friday Injury Report

Yhonzae Pierre

Alabama has some good news as linebacker Yhonzae Pierre is listed as probable in Friday’s injury report and is expected to play the upcoming matchup, after missing out the win against South Carolina due to an undisclosed injury.

Pierre’s availability will be a boost to Alabama’s defense. The freshman has appeared in five games this season, with four tackles and two passes defended.

Cayden Jones

Linebacker Cayden Jones remains out, as confirmed by Alabama’s Friday injury report. His absence was reported earlier in the week, and his status has not changed.

Daniel Hill

Running back Daniel Hill is another key player who will miss Saturday’s matchup due to a knee injury he sustained earlier in the 2024 season. With Hill out, Alabama’s backfield depth will be tested as they look to replace his contributions in the running game. Hill has rushed for 37 yards this season with one touchdown.

Keon Sabb

Tennessee Football’s Friday Injury Report

Keenan Pili

Tennessee will be playing without linebacker Keenan Pili, who has been ruled out for the rest of the season due to an ACL injury he suffered against Florida last week.

Coach Josh Heupel expressed his heartbreak over Pili’s absence, saying, "There's nobody that represents Tennessee better than him."

Pili's absence will leave a significant gap in Tennessee's defense. Pili, who's playing his sixth year of college football, had 29 tackles in six games for the Vols this season.

Jourdan Thomas

Tennessee’s secondary will be shorthanded as defensive back Jourdan Thomas has also been ruled out. Thomas suffered a knee injury in August and will miss the season.

Edwin Spillman

Linebacker Edwin Spillman will not be dressed for Friday’s game against Alabama. Spillman’s absence further makes it difficult for the linebacker group already missing Keenan Pili. The freshman has appeared in two games thus far, making three tackles.
