Aneyas Williams is a running back for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish and played as a freshman in 2024. At Hannibal High School, Williams was ranked as a four-star prospect according to 247Sports, ESPN, and Rivals. He was among the nation's top running backs, as he was ranked as the 144th-best player by Rivals and the 21st-best running back by 247Sports. Apart from playing football, Williams also played baseball and participated in track and field events. He was one of the few students in his high school years to be a multi-sport athlete for straight four years. He made his collegiate debut against Penn State, registering two carries for 17 yards and received five catches on five attempts for 66 yards. In the 2024 season, Williams rushed 219 yards for 2 yards and caught 18 times for 172 yards. He was remarkable against Army West Point, rushing for 62 yards for one touchdown.

Williams’ list of accomplishments includes being named four times as an all-state, all-conference, and all-district athlete, as well as being awarded All-American as a senior. He was the Missouri Coaches Association's 2023 Class 4 Offensive Player of the Year and is the only player to win KHQA Player of the Year twice.
