On its way to the College Football Playoff semifinal at the Cotton Bowl, the Ohio State Buckeyes have looked unstoppable. The Texas Longhorns and Quinn Ewers will be underdogs as they enter AT&T Stadium on Friday night.

That doesn't matter to Antonio Brown. He's taking the Longhorns to win.

"Got Texas tonight 34-31," Brown posted Friday morning on X, also tagging actor and Texas mega-fan Matthew McConaughey in his prediction.

The former standout Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver's score doesn't line up with what On3 college football experts Ari Wasserman and Andy Staples believe. According to the analysts, the Longhorns will have to put on the scoreboard to have a chance.

The Buckeyes are 5.5-point favorites, according to FanDuel.

Entering the matchup, the Longhorns might be shaky. They let Arizona State force overtime in their Peach Bowl quarterfinal win, and rumors still swirl around their quarterback situation with Quinn Ewers and Arch Manning. Ewers ensured Texas wouldn't exit the bracket early by stepping up in the extra periods of the win over the Sun Devils.

Can Texas get past a motivated Ohio State?

FanDuel also listed Ohio State as its favorite to win the national championship entering the semifinals. The Buckeyes have turned their heartbreaking rivalry loss to Michigan on Nov. 30 into fuel, beating Tennessee and Oregon so far in the postseason.

"I almost feel like in a weird way — as Ohio State people, it's weird to say that — 'It was a good thing to lose to Michigan,'" ESPN analyst and former Buckeyes quarterback Kirk Herbstreit said on On3 podcast "Andy & Ari" on Tuesday.
"But I do think that the loss to Michigan and the reaction from the media and from some of the fans brought them together. They were either going to crack and fall apart (or) they were gonna come together more."

In their matchup against the Volunteers, Ohio State quickly established a 21-0 lead at home in the first round. While it was understandable if the Buckeyes didn't maintain that dominance against the powerful Ducks, Oregon proved no match in the Rose Bowl, falling behind 34-0. Freshman standout Jeremiah Smith excelled on offense, while Ohio State's defense was smothering.

Quinn Ewers will have to play well against that unit, which confounded Tennessee's Nico Iamaleava and Oregon's Dillon Gabriel. The Longhorns might measure up well with the Buckeyes in terms of talent, though, which could level the playing field some for Texas.
