The AP Top 25 Poll is released every week shortly after noon ET on Sunday. However, some voters release their personal ballots in the leadup to the poll's release.

Brett McMurphy always releases an article with his full ballot on Sunday morning, and this week was no different. There was some interesting movement on his ballot after the Week 12 games.

3 interesting teams on Brett McMurphy's AP Top 25 Poll ballot

Brett McMurphy is not known to overreact from week to week. He takes a steady approach to his rankings, which makes big shifts interesting to see. These are three interesting teams from his rankings.

#1 Boise State

Running back Ashton Jeanty and the No. 13-ranked Boise State Broncos (9-1) defeated the San Jose State Spartans 42-21 on Saturday. As a result, McMurphy continued to move the Broncos steadily up the rankings. He now has them ranked 12th in his personal rankings.

The Broncos have steadily moved up McMurphy's rankings throughout the year, and with two winnable games left on their schedule (Wyoming and Oregon State), they could enter the top 10 before the end of the year.

#2 Colorado

The No. 18-ranked Colorado Buffaloes (8-2) have been media darlings all year. The entire football world has been talking about the success of Travis Hunter, Shedeur Sanders, and Deion Sanders this year. So, when the Buffaloes easily defeated Utah 49-24 on Saturday, it would not have been surprising to see them move up the rankings.

However, the Colorado Buffaloes's victory did not convince McMurphy who kept them 18th in his personal rankings. We will have to wait and see whether other voters agree or if the Buffaloes can move closer to a top-10 ranking in the AP Top 25 Poll.

#3 Georgia

The No. 11-ranked Georgia Bulldogs (8-2) have bounced around a lot in the AP Top 25 Poll this season. A 10-28 loss to the No. 10-ranked Ole Miss Rebels knocked them down from the top five to the outside of the top 10 in the official AP Top 25 Poll. However, they bounced back on Saturday with a 31-17 win over No. 6-ranked Tennessee.

As a result, Brett McMurphy has nearly moved them back into the top five. He has them in sixth behind Ole Miss. It will be interesting to see if the Bulldogs continue to be one of the most volatile teams in the AP Top 25 Poll when the official rankings are released.
