Despite having limited playtime on the field, Texas Longhorns QB Arch Manning decided to remain with Steve Sarkisian's team for the 2024 season. With Quinn Ewers returning for another season, Manning will be acting as his backup while waiting for his chance at being the QB of the team.

But this has not deterred Arch Manning from keeping himself in peak condition. Recently, he attended a workout at his uncle and 2x Super Bowl champ Peyton Manning's camp, the Manning Passing Academy.

In a video shared on social media by Texas insider CJ Vogel, the young Texas quarterback can be seen going through drills with Peyton. Arch is seen moving according to his uncle's instruction, as he ends the drill showing off his passing prowess.

Last season, Arch was named the third-string QB behind Ewers and backup Maalik Murphy. He did get the opportunity to make his debut during the Longhorns' 57-7 victory against Texas Tech, where he put up 30 passing yards while completing 2 of 5 passes.

With Murphy transferring to Duke this offseason, Arch Manning gets the chance to be the backup to Quinn Ewers which could lead to him seeing significant playing time for the Longhorns.

Quinn Ewers gets real on his relationship with Arch Manning

Ewers recently made an appearance on Robert Griffin III's podcast called 'RGIII and the Ones'. During the show, he opened up about his bond with Arch and talked about how they were close to each other despite having some level of competition between them.

"I think we're really intense competitors. And we all want the same outcome. But at the end of the day, I think we're better humans. And I think we're better people. And I think that we really enjoy each other's company in that quarterback room," Ewers said. (18:30)

Ewers put up a dominant performance for Texas last campaign. He threw for 2,479 yards with 22 touchdowns and just six interceptions as he led the Longhorns to a Big 12 title and a playoff spot, where they unfortunately lost to Washington.

Arch Manning now has the opportunity at hand to learn behind Ewers for another year.
