In Week 3 of the 2024 college football season, the 20th-ranked Arizona Wildcats go on the road to play the 14th-ranked Kansas State Wildcats at 8 p.m. ET on Friday. The game can be watched on ESPN.
Arizona is coming off a 22-10 win over Northern Arizona to improve to 2-0. Kansas State, meanwhile, is also 2-0 and coming off a 34-27 comeback win over Tulane.
Arizona vs Kansas State: Prediction
Arizona is a seven-point underdog on the road, while the over/under is set for 59.5 points.
The Wildcats are set for their first road game of the season. Arizona will be led by quarterback Noah Fifita, who led his team to win against Northern Arizona, going 18-for-26 for 173 yards, one touchdown and one interception.

Heading into the game, Arizona coach Brent Brennan knows Kansas State can pose problems to them.
“I think we’re playing an excellent football team. They’re really good in all three phases, they had a nice win on the road last weekend against Tulane. Good players, they’re extremely well-coached, they play with real physicality. I got a lot of respect for these guys," Brennan said, via Rivals.
"Obviously, it’s going to be a great gameday atmosphere in that venue. I think it’s something that everyone is excited about and we’re also aware of the challenge ahead.”
Kansas State, meanwhile, had a scare against Tulane. The Wildcats trailed 20-10 at the half. However, Kansas State outscored the Green Wave 24-7 in the second half to get the win.
The Wildcats are led by quarterback Avery Johnson, who went 15-for-23 for 181 yards and two touchdowns. Johnson is eager to go up against a high-caliber defense.
"I'm really excited to be able to go up against another talented team this week, because I feel like Tulane is a really talented defense, and Arizona is very talented as well. So I'm really excited to be able to line it up against those guys and be able to compete against them on Friday night," Johnson said, via 247Sports.
Ultimately, Johnson should be able to have a better game here and lead Kansas State to a win to help their playoff hopes.
