Ashton Gillotte is an American defensive end who concluded his college career with the Louisville Cardinals in 2024. Gillotte joined the program in 2021 and was rated a three-star prospect by 247Sports. In his freshman campaign, Gillotte posted 19 tackles and 4.0 sacks while appearing in 12 games. In his second year as a sophomore, Gillotte started in all 12 games and recorded 24 combo tackles and seven sacks while earning an All-ACC honorable mention. Last season as a senior, Gillotte finished the campaign with 43 combo tackles while receiving a second-team All-ACC honour. Gillotte concluded his college career with 26.5 sacks in 2024.
Before his collegiate journey, Gillotte attended Boca Raton Community High School, where he was a four-year starter for the football team. During his prep career, Gillotte was credited with 128 tackles. During his senior year, Gillotte led Boca Raton to the state championship tie and recorded 72 solo tackles and 21 sacks (via gocards).
