Auburn CB Keionte Scott shares heartfelt message following 2025 NFL draft decision

Keionte Scott joined the Auburn Tigers as a super athletic playmaker from Snow College in 2022. Scott was as raw as they come but developed into an all-SEC caliber talent on Hugh Freeze's squad. Following an impressive senior year with the Tigers, Scott is now on his way to the NFL, having declared for the 2025 draft.

He penned a heartfelt letter to Snow College and the Auburn Tigers and shared it on Instagram. Here's the letter posted on Instagram, where he thanked Snow College and Auburn as he announced his declaration for next year's draft:

Keionte Scott landing spots

With Keionte Scott set to take his talents to the National Football League, let's look at three potential landing spots for the talented cornerback.

#1 Baltimore Ravens

On paper, the Baltimore Ravens are one of the best teams in the AFC and a well-oiled machine under coach John Harbaugh. However, they've shown signs of vulnerability in a few positions, and none have been more glaring than at the cornerback position.

As a result, teams with competent wide receivers have exposed the Ravens' soft underbelly, and they've lost a few more games than they've liked. Keionte Scott could be an asset for the Ravens due to his ball-hawking ability, covering skills and ability to adapt in the special teams department. He looks like a proper John Harbaugh draft pick.

#2 Cincinnati Bengals

The Cincinnati Bengals risk ruining Joe Burrow's prime if they don't sort out their defensive issues in the upcoming offseason. The Bengals are essentially out of the playoff picture after bottling numerous games due to their secondary's vulnerability.

Keionte Scott could come into the team and be an impact player from day one. He could contribute on special teams and get a couple of snaps at cornerback while he adapts to the improved standard of play in the NFL.

Scott will add a much-needed switch to a cornerback room that includes Cam Taylor-Britt, DJ Turner II, Josh Newton and Marco Wilson.

#3 Detroit Lions

The Detroit Lions are the best team in the NFC, and with their performance since Week 1, they've been headed for a wildcard round bye. The Lions have a team built on hunger, passion and risk-taking, and Keionte Scott should settle in nicely within the locker room.

Dan Campbell likes his players with a chip on their shoulder, and Scott fits that description to the tee. The Lions need some strengthening at cornerback, and the Tigers' cornerback could be an inspired addition. Ennis Rakestraw Jr. and Terrion Arnold would be great mentors for the San Diego-born defensive back.
