Avery Johnson is a college football player, playing as a quarterback for Kansas State Wildcats, representing Kansas State University, as of 2024. The 6 ft 2-inch sophomore was born to Mark Johnson and Hope Dent in Wichita, Kansas. Johnson’s football career took off at Maize High School where he played under coach Gary Guzman. For his performances throughout his high school career, ESPN rated him the 77th-best player in the Class of 2023. Johnson was also named the top player in the state of Kansas from the Class of 2023 by 247Sports, On3, and ESPN.
