The excitement surrounding the release of EA Sports College Football 25 continues to increase as the game gets closer to be available for everyone. Earlier on Thursday, they released information about the Road to Glory game mode.
While there were a lot of impressive things, one takeaway was the removal of high school football and instead starting at the collegiate level.
Fans took to social media and were not pleased by the decision.
"No high school is an L but honestly this is the best way to do it without high school." One user commented
"No high school 💔", said another fan
One fan cracked a joke about EA Sports selling certain game features.
"If there was highschool this year what would they sell you next year," said one commenter.
Another fan was resigned to losing the high school part in College Football 25.
"I wish they would've kept the high school part of the RTG but it is what it is. I'll just start as a 3 or 2 star and go from there. Might get Madden when it goes on sale. Emphasis on might. Game got to be heavily discounted for me to get it." Another person posted.
Meanwhile, another commenter kept it real.
"Two main gripes are no HS, and mini games instead of the normal practice, but I’m still gonna play the heck out of this so it’s fine," the fan said.
It will be interesting to see what intricacies that the Road to Glory mode has throughout it as importing your player to Madden was one feature people were wanting for a while.
When does EA Sports College Football 25 officially release?
