Ben Coleman is an American college football athlete who graduated from Arizona State University in 2023 and will play his final season of college football. Coleman started his football career at Linfield Christian School where he played in both left tackle and defensive end positions. He also served as the team captain for three seasons and recorded 115 tackles, 13.5 sacks, and one forced fumble in his sophomore and junior years. Coleman was ranked the No.64 player in the state of California by 247Sports and was rated a three-star prospect. Coleman embarked on his collegiate football journey with California Golden Bears despite receiving offers from Division I schools like Arizona, Arizona State, Iowa State, Minnesota, Nebraska, Utah State, USC, UCLA and Washington.

Coleman did not see any action in freshman season and redshirted the year. In 2020 as a redshirt freshman, Coleman played in only three games but did not record any numbers. For the next two years, Coleman started in 12 games and was regarded as California’s best offensive lineman in the 2022 season. However, after four years in California, Coleman transferred to Arizona State after the conclusion of the 2022 regular season. Unfortunately, Coleman suffered a serious lower leg injury in the 2023 off-season and sat for the remainder of his senior season. He is expected to play a crucial role at left guard in the upcoming 2024 season.
