Brady Cook is a college football quarterback for the Missouri Tigers, as of 2024. Cook attended Chaminade College Preparatory School, where he had a standout high school career. As a senior, he threw for an impressive 3,194 yards and 33 touchdowns, earning recognition as a three-star recruit and the top quarterback in Missouri.

Brady Cook redshirted his first year at Missouri in 2020 but appeared in three games, recording 72 passing yards and one touchdown. In 2021, Cook began the season as the backup quarterback but quickly ascended to the starting role after injuries sidelined the incumbent starter. He made his first significant impact during a game against Georgia, where he threw for 78 yards despite a tough loss. His first career start came in the Armed Forces Bowl against Army, where he showcased his dual-threat capabilities with 238 passing yards and a rushing touchdown. The following season (2022) saw Cook officially named the starting quarterback. He led Missouri to notable performances, including a near-upset against No. 1 Georgia. Despite finishing that season with a 6-7 record, Cook threw for over 2,700 yards and accounted for multiple touchdowns throughout the year. Cook's breakout year came in 2023 when he led Missouri to a remarkable 10-2 record and an appearance in the Cotton Bowl Classic. He finished the regular season with over 3,300 passing yards and 21 touchdowns while also contributing significantly on the ground with eight rushing touchdowns. He threw for a career-high 411 yards against LSU and set an SEC record for consecutive passes without an interception. Despite facing injuries during his final season, an ankle injury against Auburn and a wrist injury against Alabama—Cook returned to lead his team. His leadership was recognized as he was named team captain and earned accolades such as SEC Football Scholar-Athlete of the Year and Goodyear Cotton Bowl Offensive MVP.

Cook has received multiple awards for his performance on the field. Notably, he was named the Goodyear Cotton Bowl Offensive MVP after leading Missouri to victory over Ohio State in December 2023. This performance capped off a standout season where he threw for over 3,300 yards and accounted for 29 total touchdowns. Cook's achievements also include being a semifinalist for prestigious awards such as the William V. Campbell Trophy and the Davey O’Brien Award, which recognize excellence among college quarterbacks.
