Paul Finebaum expressed his disappointment with Ohio State fans. This came after the Buckeyes' playoff game against Tennessee, where approximately 30,000 Volunteers fans attended, making up around 30% of the crowd at Ohio Stadium.

"Can you imagine nearly half of (Tennessee's) Neyland Stadium being inhabited by Ohio State fans if they had a regular season matchup or even a playoff game in reverse?" Finebaum asked on "The Paul Finebaum Show" on Thursday.
"That wouldn't happen because fans in the South take great pride in their teams. While the Buckeye fans completely sold out."

However, the Buckeyes dominated the game 42-17. Their top-ranked defense restricted Tennessee's offense to just 256 yards.

Oregon and Ohio State in Rose Bowl

The sixth-ranked Buckeyes (11-2, No. 8 seed in CFP) will face top-ranked Oregon (13-0, No. 1 seed) in the College Football Playoff quarterfinals in the Rose Bowl. The matchup is a rematch of their October game, which Oregon won 32-31 at home.

The Ducks' victory in the Big Ten Championship Game secured their spot in the Rose Bowl.

The Rose Bowl will kick off at 5 p.m. ET on Wednesday. The game will be broadcast on ESPN, with streaming available on Sling TV and Fubo.

Paul Finebaum's prediction for Georgia vs. Notre Dame

Paul Finebaum has also shared his thoughts on the upcoming Georgia vs. Notre Dame game on "The Matt Barrie Show" earlier this week. Despite concerns about Georgia's quarterback situation, Finebaum believes the Bulldogs will emerge victorious in the Sugar Bowl on Wednesday.

"I can easily see them getting in trouble," Finebaum said. "But we overuse the word resilient. It's kind of the new catchphrase, but nobody's been more resilient than Georgia."

Finebaum praised Georgia's ability to navigate a challenging schedule, citing its games against Texas, Alabama, Ole Miss and Tennessee.

"The fact they only had two losses is pretty remarkable," he said. "So, I like Georgia, a slight edge."

Finebaum also discussed Georgia's quarterback issue, with Gunner Stockton replacing the injured Carson Beck (elbow).

"You have to be worried about Gunner Stockton," Finebaum said. "I think that’s what some Georgia fans are gravitating to, but in talking to (Georgia Coach) Kirby Smart (on) Saturday morning on our show, he feels pretty confident.”
