
Cameron Ward is an American football player, born on May 25, 2002, in Lake Jackson, Texas, U.S., to Patrice and Calvin Ward. The 6 ft 2-inch player played as a quarterback for the Miami Hurricanes in the 2024-25 season and formerly played for the Washington State Cougars.
The 22-year-old was also a player for the Incarnate Word Cardinals, where he won the 2020 Jerry Rice Award, an award which is given annually in the United States in college football to the most outstanding freshman player in the NCAA Division I Football Championship Subdivision (FCS).
In addition to this, Cam won the Southland Offensive Player of the Year and Second-team All-Southland in 2021, Southland Freshman of the Year and Third-team All-Southland in 2020. As a junior, Cam played football at Columbia High School and completed 72 of 124 passes for 1,070 yards and seven touchdowns.
