Carson Beck 2025 NFL Draft: 5 potential landing spots for the Georgia QB

It was announced on Saturday afternoon that Georgia Bulldogs quarterback Carson Beck will enter the 2025 NFL draft. His season officially ended as he suffered a UCL injury during the SEC Championship Game against the Texas Longhorns.

Beck has shown himself to be a great player as he has completed 290-of-448 (64.7%) of his passes for 3,485 yards with 28 passing touchdowns to 12 interceptions. He has been the starter for the program over the last two seasons.

But which teams make the most sense for Carson Beck to be drafted to? Let's take a deeper dive into a handful of teams that would be great fits for the Georgia quarterback.

Carson Beck 2025 NFL Draft potential landing spots

New York Giants

The New York Giants desperately need a quarterback and Carson Beck could fill that void. At the time of this article being written, they hold the first pick in the 2025 NFL draft, and getting a quarterback with that pick seems to be what will happen.

Beck is the quarterback in this draft class that fills the Eli Manning prototype and with this ownership team being in love with what Manning provided, this could be a great fit.

However, with a lot of needs on the roster, the Giants could even wait. Due to the injury, expect Carson Beck to fall later into the draft so they can get another position and still land Beck on Day 2 of the NFL draft.

Tennessee Titans

The Tennessee Titans have been struggling under center as they have Will Levis and Mason Rudolph right now. Tennessee has struggled to find a franchise quarterback.

Their offense has key pieces throughout the roster with guys like running back Tony Pollard, wide receiver Calvin Ridley and wide receiver Tyler Body to name a few.

Getting a quarterback like Carson Beck will help the offense and can build it stronger with coach Brian Callahan. The rest of the division seemingly has their franchise quarterbacks with Anthony Richardson, Trevor Lawrence and CJ Stroud, so the Titans need to find the quarterback for them.

Cleveland Browns

One of the worst contracts in the NFL has been quarterback Deshaun Watson as he is in the midst of a five-year, fully guaranteed contract and not living up to his deal.

With a massive contract and the Cleveland Browns restructuring his deal recently, they are looking towards the team's future. There are rumors swirling about owner Jimmy Haslam having an affinity for Quinn Ewers. But this gives the team a young quarterback to battle it out with if they were to land both in the future.

This Cleveland team has some solid players with wide receiver Jerry Jeudy and tight end David Njoku as well as a strong defensive team. They could significantly improve with Carson Beck leading the way.

New Orleans Saints

The New Orleans Saints have been one of the more interesting teams as they have been in salary cap hell and need to reset things. The team has quarterback Derek Carr under contract but there is a potential out after this season.

With all the dead cap that will be hitting the Saints in the near future, the team getting Carson Beck to compete with the likes of Spencer Rattler for the starting spot next season could be beneficial.

With a new coach calling the shots, getting a new quarterback could be the landing spot that makes sense.

This New Orleans Saints team does have some good talent offensively with running back Alvin Kamara and wide receiver Chris Olave, to name a few. That can help Carson Beck on the field going forward.

San Francisco 49ers

This one is the most far-fetched out of all these but is still a possibility. The San Francisco 49ers have one more year of quarterback Brock Purdy before his contract expires. They will want some serious money on a new contract.

Having coach Kyle Shanahan with a talented quarterback who can take advantage of situations, like Beck does, could help the 49ers after missing the postseason this year.

Carson Beck has shown the ability to do well in the pocket and play well with scripted plays. With the offensive skill position players like wide receivers Ricky Pearsall, Brandon Aiyuk, Deebo Samuel, etc. under contract, this would be a dream come true for Carson Beck.
