Carson Beck is a quarterback for the Georgia Bulldogs and will be a redshirt sophomore in 2024. Beck hails from Jacksonville, Florida, and graduated from Mandarin High School. In 2020, he committed to the University of Georgia and kick-started his collegiate career against Missouri in the fourth quarter. Throughout his collegiate career, Beck won numerous recognitions, he was a finalist for the Manning Award in 2024 and was selected on the Coaches All-SEC Second Team in 2023. He was ranked third nationally and was first in the SEC to register 3,941 passing yards in 2023. His 72.4% pass-completion percentage placed him at number four nationally. His most noteworthy game was against Kentucky in 2023 where he recorded 389 passing yards and won the SEC Co-Offensive Player of the Week.

As a senior, he guided the team to a 7-4 record, registering 1,843 passing yards and scoring 20 touchdowns. He also added 167 rushing yards and scored six more touchdowns that season. He had one of the finest seasons as a junior as he led Mandarin into its first state title at Florida's highest classification in 2018. In the championship game against Duval County Public School, Beck threw 25 passes out of 36 attempts to register 329 yards and five touchdowns. Throughout his career, he received the recognition of Florida's Mr. Football in 2019 and attended the 2019 Elite 11 Finals. He was also the USA Today Florida Offensive Player of the Year in 2018.
