Cincinnati defeated Arizona State 24-14 in Week 8, with signal-caller Brendan Sorsby throwing for 206 passing yards and an interception. Sorsby also ran for 26 yards and scored two touchdowns. RB Corey Kiner ran for 102 yards.
For their part, the Buffs had a commanding win over the Arizona Wildcats 37-4. Shedeur Sanders threw for 250 yards, with two touchdown passes and two interceptions. Surprisingly, they also put together 155 rushing yards, with two touchdowns (one by Shedeur Sanders).
