CJ Carr is an American football quarterback who played his rookie campaign with the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. He began his high school football career at Saline High School, where he led them to an SEC Red championship during his senior year. He concluded that year with 2,754 passing yards and 24 touchdowns, which earned him an invitation to the All-American Bowl in 2023. Carr was rated a four-star recruit by ESPN and was named the No.1 player in Michigan in the 2024 recruiting class.
