The No. 21-ranked Clemson Tigers (1-1) will face the NC State Wolfpack (2-1) on Saturday at 12 p.m. ET in a Week 4 matchup. Clemson enters the game on the back of an open week after defeating Appalachian State 66-20 in Week 2. NC State is coming off a 30-20 win over LA Tech.
Although the Tigers are a huge favorite heading into the game, they are dealing with several key injuries.
Clemson injury report Week 4
The Clemson Tigers have five players on the injury report ahead of their Week 4 matchup against the NC State Wolfpack.
Tyler Brown
Sophomore wide receiver Tyler Brown is questionable for this week's matchup with an ankle injury. Brown, who has started both games for Clemson this season, was limited to only five snaps against Appalachian State in Week 2 before getting injured. Last year he earned freshman All-American honors and led the team with 42 receptions and 531 receiving yards.
Kobe McCloud
Sophomore linebacker Kobe McCloud will miss the rest of the season with a knee injury. McCloud will need surgery for the injury he suffered in Week 2 against Appalachian State, but a date has not been announced. He was a second-string linebacker for the Tigers this season.
Jarvis Green
Freshman running back Jarvis Green is questionable for this week's matchup against NC State with a leg injury. Coach Dabo Swinney told reporters Green should appear in his first game of the season this week. The running back had missed all of practice camp and the first two games of the season with his injury. He redshirted last season and only played 10 offensive snaps.
Trent Howard
Senior offensive lineman Trent Howard is questionable for this week's game against NC State. His injury is undisclosed, but Swinney told reporters that Howard is expected to return for the Wolfpack encounter. He told reporters:
"He is one of those guys where the off week was huge for him. So, that is a short in the arm for us. We get a veteran guy back that can snap and play guard for us."
Peyton Streko
Redshirt freshman running back Peyton Streko is questionable for this week's game against NC State. Streko sustained an undisclosed injury during the offseason and has not yet been able to participate in any matchups this year. He was a walk-on last season and appeared in one game while redshirting against Charleston Southern.
