The injury report will be a factor in the Clemson vs. Florida State matchup. The Florida State Seminoles (1-4) will host the 15th-ranked Clemson Tigers (3-1) on Saturday at 7 p.m. ET.
Before the season started, this was a matchup that might have favored Florida State; however, the Seminoles have had a disastrous year thus far, and injuries are not helping. Clemson is also dealing with injuries of its own.
Clemson injury report week 6
Clemson mostly has players dealing with minor injuries. However, one big player to watch out for is Peter Woods.
Peter Woods
Star defensive end Peter Woods has missed the last two games while recovering from a leg injury. Woods was injured as a consequence of a chop block play, but his recovery appears to be going well. Coach Dabo Swinney said Woods practices every day and hopes to play against Florida State.
Troy Stellato
Wide receiver Troy Stellato went down with an injury at practice prior to last week's game against Stanford. The injury is not as severe as they initially thought, but he remains questionable for this week's game against the Seminoles.
Antonio Williams
Wide receiver Antonio Williams exited last week's 40-14 win over Stanford in the third quarter with an injury. However, the injuries were minor and he should be good to go for Clemson this week.
Florida State injury report week 6
Florida State only has a few players on the injury report, but the ones on it are significant. None will have a bigger impact on this week's game than the injury to quarterback DJ Uiagalelei.
DJ Uiagalelei
Florida State's season went from bad to worse when DJ Uiagalelei suffered a hand injury in the fourth quarter of the Seminoles' 42-16 loss to SMU last week. He was replaced by backup quarterback Brock Glenn.
On Monday after the game, it was reported the injury might be a long-term issue.
Richie Leonard IV
This week, coach Mike Norvell announced that left guard Richie Leonard IV is out for the rest of the season. He did not play in last week's game against SMU but started every previous game. The injury he sustained was not announced.
