Coach Prime's ex-wife, Carolyne Chambers, attended the Colorado Buffaloes' game against the BYU Cougars in the Alamo Bowl on Saturday night. The mother of Deion Sanders' first two children, Deiondra Sanders and Deion Sanders Jr., watched the game with Deion Jr.'s girlfriend, Brittany Faye.

Chambers was in great spirits and reposted an Instagram story from Brittany's page. In it, she enjoyed the perks of being in the VIP section of the Alamodome.

Who is Coach Prime's ex-wife, Carolyne Chambers?

Carolyne Chambers is a real estate broker and the first wife of football legend Deion Sanders. Chambers was married to Sanders from 1989 to 1998, and the duo share two children: Deiondra Sanders and son Deion Sanders Jr.

Chambers and Deion Sanders were together while he starred in the NFL for the Atlanta Falcons, San Francisco 49ers and Dallas Cowboys. However, the couple divorced in 1998, ending a decade of being together (one year of dating and nine as a married couple).

Chambers has since settled down with former basketball player Erick Strickland.

On the other hand, Coach Prime married Pilar Biggers-Sanders in 1999, with whom he had Shilo, Shedeur and Shelomi. He's currently unattached after a 12-year relationship with Tracey Edmonds ended in 2023.

Colorado ends the Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter era with a loss

Shedeur Sanders and Travis Hunter joined the Colorado Buffaloes with Coach Prime in 2022. The duo dominated at Jackson State, but some doubted their ability to light it up in the FBS due to the significant jump in quality.

That wasn't a problem as Sanders and Hunter lit up the Big 12 and improved their program's fortunes from 4-8 in 2023 to 9-3 in the 2024 regular season. Sanders won the Unitas Golden Arm Award, and Hunter snagged the Heisman Trophy.

However, the 17th-ranked BYU Cougars (11-2) weren't fazed by the 20th-ranked Buffaloes (9-4), as they recorded a 36-14 win over Sanders' squad. On the bright side, neither Sanders nor Hunter picked up an injury that'll affect their 2025 draft stock. The duo can now focus on preparing for the draft combine and meetings with franchises holding the top 10 picks.
