Who are Colin Ramos’ parents?
Colin Ramos is the son of Marcial and Holly Ramos.
The Midshipmen Linebacker's parents have been the biggest influences on his journey as a student-athlete. Marcial is a strict but encouraging father who made sure Colin understood the value of hard work early on. "I wouldn’t call him a type-A personality," Marcial said in an interview, as per Navy Sports, "but everything Colin does has to be done the right way. That’s just who he is." Whether it was practicing extra tackling drills after youth games or focusing on schoolwork, Marcial Ramos made sure Colin always gave his best effort.
When the time came to choose a college, Marcial and Holly Ramos supported Colin in making the big decision. Colin had offers from FCS schools, but when the Naval Academy reached out, he knew it was where he belonged. "Colin fell in love with the Naval Academy when he visited. It fits him," Marcial said.
Now, Colin Ramos is working towards graduating with a degree in history in 2025 and being commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the U.S. Marine Corps.
