EA Sports released a deep dive explanation of the Dynasty Mode of the upcoming College Football 25 video game on Thursday. The deep dive into the beloved coaching career mode was available to prospective players in writing on the EA website and in video on YouTube.
The Dynasty Mode in the video game has been built by EA Sports to offer players a realistic college football experience. It boasts basic features, most of which were available in NCAA Football 14, and the more advanced ones brought about by modern changes in the college football landscape.
Here’s a look at three interesting facts about EA Sports College Football 25 Dynasty Mode ahead of its official release later this month.
3 Interesting Facts about College Football 25 Dynasty Mode
#1 More realistic recruiting
Recruiting is the lifeblood of college football and EA Sports has designed the feature to be more realistic with what they refer to as “Staged Recruiting.” Like in the real world, each recruit will be at a different stage of the recruitment process.
More than 3,500 recruits will be generated every year across the country and 14 different pitch grades will determine the interest of every recruit in a particular program. Also, both Early Signing Day and National Signing Day will be held at an already designated time on College Football 25.
#2 Existence of transfer portal
The transfer portal has, in the last couple of years, disrupted the college football world significantly, with players jumping programs seamlessly. EA Sports is bringing this experience to College Football 25 and it promises to make it feel “authentically unpredictable.”
The transfer portal is scheduled to open at the beginning of offseason recruiting and it will be open for just four weeks. Similar to high school prospects, transfers will be awarded a star rating based on their overall rating and they will create their own top school list before making the final decision.
#3 Possibility of conference realignment
Conference realignment has reshaped the college football landscape in the last few years. A lot of schools have moved conferences to secure financial advantage. In College Football 25, players can also switch conferences at which their program plays.
Each conference can have as few as four members and as many as 20. EA Sports has created branding elements, like a jersey patch, to alter dynamically after realignment. Players can also make their program independent, but it makes them ineligible for a bye in the college football playoffs.
