Colorado Buffaloes star two-way player Travis Hunter is a menace in College Football 25. He has some crazy abilities that make him a dominant force on both sides of the football, which makes sense after seeing the type of season he had in Boulder last season.

In 2023, Hunter finished with 31 total tackles, five pass deflections and three interceptions defensively. Offensively, he had 57 catches for 721 yards (12.6 yards per reception) with five receiving touchdowns. Let's take a deeper dive into how Travis Hunter plays in College Football 25 and three of his unique features.

Travis Hunter's top abilities in College Football 25

#1. 50/50

This ability gives Travis Hunter an increased chance to win contested jump balls in College Football 25 and that significantly helps players. How many times do you throw the football and try to do an aggressive catch because the defender is also right there? Now, you have the advantage when throwing the football towards Hunter.

This is also one of the abilities that translates on both sides of the football field as even with Hunter being a cornerback, this will help users. Expect some highlight shows from what Travis Hunter can do.

#2. Recoup

The Recoup ability will increase the recovery process from fatigue when Travis Hunter is on the sidelines in College Football 25. This is obviously crucial with Hunter being both a wide receiver and a cornerback as he is going to get more fatigued as the game goes along. However, when he is subbed out, he will recover more.

While this doesn't specify wear and tear, this ability will make him less likely to suffer injuries as he is more rested after recuperating from the fatigue.

#3. Lay Out

This College Football 25 ability increases the ability to successfully dive for catches with Travis Hunter. That means if a ball is thrown off target that most players are not going to attempt to catch in the game, Hunter is going to be able to dive and make a play on some of them.

That helps on both sides of the football and if you have him as a wide receiver and are running out routes, this can really help if there is significant pressure on the quarterback.
