Student-athletes play college football in their colleges and universities, through collegiate competitions. Athlete students start with big dreams of success in the sport of college football. it is the most celebrated sport across the country and is the second tier after high school before professional play. Led by the NCAA, College football surpasses the professional version popularity-wise in some states of the country. Many athlete-students move to play further professionally and the National Football League is the platform where they showcase their talents in. The NFL selects 224 players each year mostly from the NCAA.

While many players have showcased their power during college and scaled to professional play, very few have fought the standard and showcased exceptional longevity and strength.

Players with most years of College Football

Cam McCormick

Cam McCormick started his college football journey at the University of Oregon, where he embraced his freshman season. Despite some setbacks, he became a significant player in his second season there. Cam McCormick played for the University of Oregon for seven years, making him the only player with a lengthy tenure in college football. The 25-year-old is currently playing for the University of Miami and seeking permission to play for a ninth year in 2024.

Je'Vionte' Nash

Je'Vionte' Nash, is a talented offensive lineman who played college football with RT, Wake Forest from 2017-2022. He made his impact felt by starting nine games in 2020 however missed the 2021 season due to injury.

Nash returned in 2022, starting all 13 games at left tackle. He contributed to the Demon Deacons's victory in the Gasparilla Bowl over Missouri. Additionally, Nash earned a spot on the All-Acc Academic Team for his contributions. Nash did not play college football in 2023.

Jack Abraham

Jack Abraham started his journey at Louisiana Tech in 2016 and later joined Northwest Mississippi Community College and then Southern Miss. Abraham showcased his talent and contributed 859 passes for 7,067 yards and 41 touchdowns from 2018-2020. In 2021, Abraham got injured and did not play.

In 2022 he started his good note in five games, finishing the season completing three pass attempts, accumulating 44 yards of offense.

Justin Clark

Justin Clark debuted in a game (with Wisconsin) against New Mexico State, and played in nine games, totaling 10 tackles. He previously played at Toledo in 2021 where he played all 13 games at cornerback, contributing 28 tackles and 3 TFLs. Clark started his career with Toledo in 2016 and played until 2022 in college football with Wisconsin.

Will Honas

After completing his high school, Will Honas joined Butler Community College, playing two seasons before joining Nebraska in 2018. Honas started with an injury in 2018 but showcased his skills in 2019 and 2020, earning All-Big Ten recognition. During the 2021 season, he suffered a knee injury and was transferred to Kansas State in 2022.
