Week 3 of the 2024 college football season appears to be one of the weaker weeks on the schedule. There are only two ranked-on-ranked games, as many of the top teams are playing easier opponents in what should be blowout wins.
Ahead of Week 3 of the college football season, here are the top five games that fans shouldn't miss.

#1. Arizona vs Kansas State, Sept. 13
One of the ranked-on-ranked matchups is 20th-ranked Arizona going on the road to play 14th-ranked Kansas State on Friday, with kickoff set at 8 p.m. EDT.
Arizona is 2-0 on the season and is coming off a 22-10 win over Northern Arizona. Kansas State, meanwhile, is also 2-0 and rallied to beat Tulane on the road.
Arizona is a seven-point underdog against Kansas State.
#2. Boston College vs Missouri, Sept. 14
The other ranked-on-ranked matchup is 24th-ranked Boston College going on the road to take on sixth-ranked Missouri, with kickoff set for 12:45 p.m. EDT on Saturday
The Boston College Eagles are 2-0. In Week 1, they stunned FSU and then shut out Duquense 56-0.
Missouri, meanwhile, is a dark horse in the SEC and a legit playoff contender. The Tigers are 2-0 and have yet to allow a point this season.
Missouri is a 16.5-point favorite.
#3. Alabama vs Wisconsin, Sept. 14
The Alabama Crimson Tide go on the road to play the Wisconsin Badgers on Saturday, with kickoff set for noon EDT.
Alabama is 2-0 and coming off a 42-16 win over South Florida, but the game was close until the Crimson Tide scored 28 points in the fourth.
Wisconsin, meanwhile, is also 2-0 and coming off a 27-13 win over South Dakota.
The Crimson Tide are 15.5-point favorites to defeat the Badgers.
#4. LSU vs South Carolina, Sept. 14
The LSU Tigers go on the road to play the South Carolina Gamecocks on Saturday at noon EDT on ABC.
LSU is 1-1 and returned to the win column with a 44-21 victory over Nicholls. The Tigers suffered aWeek 1 loss to USC. South Carolina, meanwhile, is 2-0 and went on the road and beat Kentucky 31-6 in a statement win.
LSU is a seven-point favorite on the road.
#5. Texas A&M vs Florida, Sept. 14
The Texas A&M Aggies go on the road to play the Florida Gators on Saturday, with kickoff set for 3:30 p.m. EDT on ABC.
Texas A&M and Florida are both 1-1. Their losses were disappointing and changed the outlook of their season.
The Aggies are 3.5-point favorites to defeat the Gators on the road.
