The Colorado Buffaloes faced a 31-28 loss to Kansas State in their Big 12 matchup on Saturday, and fans had plenty to say about it. Colorado, missing star player Travis Hunter due to a shoulder injury in the second quarter, couldn’t pull off a miracle victory. The defeat snaps their three-game winning streak and slows down their Big 12 title ambitions.
To make matters worse, wide receiver Jimmy Horn Jr. also exited the game with an injury, and in the fourth quarter, Omarion Miller was helped off the field after a 51-yard catch.
Fans vented their frustration, with one claiming, "Colorado got robbed," and others criticizing the refereeing, sharing clips of controversial calls.

“Colorado got robbed. Clear PI just ignored (and I don't even like Colorado).”
“Keep faking injuries! Sorry y’all live in Kansas,” a fan tweeted.
“The refs in this Kansas State/Colorado game,” a fan tweeted a clip of referee.
“Never heard the state of Colorado more silent,” a fan wrote.
“Every play Colorado runs a Kansas State player is hurt this is ridiculous,” one wrote.
Despite their struggles, some fans remained optimistic:
“Colorado did a lot wrong especially on the defensive end! But Colorado almost beat them without their best player and top two receivers!” one fan wrote.
This loss brings Colorado to a 4-2 record, the same as last season at this point, though they finished 4-8 last year. With a 2-1 record in Big 12 play, they’ll look to bounce back in their next game on the road against Arizona (3-3) next Saturday.
