Deion Burks is a college football wide receiver, playing for the Oklahoma Sooners, as of November 2024. Burks hails from Inkster, Michigan, and attended Belleville High School, where he kickstarted his high school football career.

Upon graduating high school, he announced his commitment to Purdue University to play collegiate football.

Burks played only four games in his debut season in 2021 where he recorded no catches. However, the following year, he played in all 14 games, starting one, recording 15 receptions for 149 yards. In 2023, while playing in all 12 games, he had 47 receptions for 629 yards and seven touchdowns making him the leading receiver for Purdue in 2023. Additionally, he rushed four times for 12 yards, made at least four catches in eight games, and notched seven receptions for 87 yards vs. Indiana (11/25), which was a team-high record.

Burks transferred to the University of Oklahoma after the conclusion of the 2023 NCAA Football Season.
