Diego Pavia is an American football player who plays as a quarterback for the Vanderbilt Commodores. He excelled in three sports, namely, football, baseball, and wrestling at Volcano Vista High School. The 6 ft 0-inch player completed 189 of his 323 passing attempts for 2,644 yards during his time at NMMI. Additionally, he had 31 touchdowns to just four interceptions.

In his last season with the side in 2021, the former New Mexico State player led the Broncos to the NJCAA National Football Championship. During his time with the Aggies, Diego grabbed his first start in the team's season opener against Nevada. In December 2023, Pavia announced that he would be entering the transfer portal. He was transferred to Vanderbilt in January 2024, where he led the side to their first win over a top-ranked team in program history on October 5, 2024, against No. 1 Alabama.
