Does Oregon play today? College football schedule for Ducks's next game after Week 4 bye

Dan Lanning's Oregon Ducks are taking the first well-deserved rest of the season in Week 4. The Eugene school coming off an impressive 49-14 win over their in-state rivals, the Oregon State Beavers. Ducks quarterback Dillon Gabriel threw for 291 yards and two touchdown passes, while Tez Johnson was his best weapon, racking up 110 receiving yards.

Lanning spoke with the media on Wednesday, and he seemed happy about his quarterbacks' performance:

"I thought he did a good job. I think when you're that accurate, it shows up in the game. You can hit holes when people drop eight. You can be able to find the vacancies in the zone and take advantage of it. Be able to hold on to the ball a little bit longer at times and wait for guys to come open."

Although he did seem a little defensive when the media asked him about the areas of improvement, Dillon Gabriel still has to work on:

"Yeah, again, I'm not going to share with you guys everything that we want to get better at that. I don't think that's your business, right? I really think that's our players business. But he knows. Every single one of our players has an individual improvement plan this week."

Who will Oregon play in Week 5 of college football?

Next week, the Oregon Ducks will clash with another Big Ten newcomer, the UCLA Bruins. The Bruins have played just two games in the season, beating Hawaii by the tiniest of margins in Week 1 (16-13) and losing big time to Indiana in Week 3 (42-13).

In Week 4, they face a difficult game against the LSU Tigers which they can hardly expect to win. The Tigers are currently the No. 16 team in the nation and have a 3-1 record, with their only loss having been a season opener against USC which went down to the wire.

The former Pac-12 schools have a bit of history together, with 71 encounters. The Bruins have the upper hand here, leading the series 40-31. Their last clash was in 2022, with a victory for Oregon 45-30. UCLA's last victory in the series came in 2017, five games ago.
