The Texas Tech Red Raiders have been in the spotlight heading into Week 12 of the 2024 college football season. Joey McGuire's team suffered a 41-28 defeat against Colorado in Week 11, which was Texas Tech's fourth loss of the season.

While McGuire has come under some pressure to deliver a strong finish to the season, fans have been curious to learn when the Red Raiders will play next.

The Texas Tech Red Raiders (6-4, 4-3 Big 12) will not play today since they have an off in Week 12. This is also their final open week of the season.

The Red Raiders will resume action on Nov. 23, when they travel to face the Oklahoma State Cowboys (3-7, 0-7 Big 12). They will then play their final regular season game at home when they host the West Virginia Mountaineers (5-4, 4-2 Big 12) on Nov. 30.

The Red Raiders have a winnable run of games to close out the season. If Texas Tech gets two more wins, it could give McGuire the benefit of the doubt heading into next season.

Texas Tech has already posted six wins this season which means the Red Raiders will be playing in a bowl game for the third consecutive season since McGuire has taken charge of the program.

Nonetheless, Texas Tech will aim to get back to winning ways after the loss against Colorado last Saturday. The team will get an extra week's rest to prepare for the matchup against Oklahoma State.

Texas Tech quarterback Behren Morton is expected to retain his starting role for the remainder of the season. The signal-caller has thrown for 2,575 yards, 21 touchdowns and six interceptions. He also has one rushing touchdown.
