EA Sports is set to release the College Football 25 this summer, marking the return of the beloved video game series after a decade-long hiatus. The release date is set for July 19, and the publisher promises to deliver a top-notch experience in the game.
The broadcast personalities for the video game were confirmed by EA Sports in February, but after the trailer dropped on Friday, the list became official. The game will feature several well-known names in the college football landscape, many of whom were also featured in the last edition of the game in 2013.
We take a look at the full list of the commentators for the video game.
EA Sports College Football 25 Commentators
#1 Chris Fowler
Chris Fowler will be making his debut in the video game series when College Football 25 finally gets released. He is one of the new faces EA Sports is introducing to the game.
From the look of things, the "Saturday Night Football" announcer is expected to be a matchup commentator in the game, joining Kirk Herbstreit to replicate the ESPN game experience.
#2 Kirk Herbstreit
Kirk Herbstreit returns to the video game after years of being a broadcast personality in the series before its hiatus. He is one of the "College GameDay" members that EA Sports is bringing back.
The ESPN analyst previously featured as an announcer in NCAA Football, and he is expected to reprise his role in the upcoming game. This will be his 14th appearance in the video game series.
#3 Rece Davis
Rece Davis is one of the known names who will be making a return to the video game series this summer. He’s been one of the top personalities for EA Sports over the years.
ESPN's "College GameDay" host previously served as a halftime show pundit in the earlier releases of NCAA Football and is likely to reprise the same role in College Football 25.
#4 David Pollack
David Pollack served as a studio analyst in the previous series of the game, and he should be returning to the same role when EA Sports finally releases College Football 25 this summer.
Unlike many other broadcast personalities associated with ESPN featured in the video game, Pollack is no longer with the network. He was fired in a cost-cutting measure last summer.
#5 Desmond Howard
Desmond Howard is another debutant broadcast personality in the upcoming video game. The former Heisman Trophy winner has boosted his profile over the year, thus his consideration.
He joins a host of "College GameDay" crew members featured in College Football 25. Considering his role on the pregame show, he is expected to assume studio duties in the game.
#6 Kevin Connors
"SportsCenter" anchor Kevin Connors is the most versatile broadcast personality featured on College Football 25. Over the years, he's hosted both college football and college basketball shows.
The ESPN television reporter's inclusion in the video game series will be well-received by fans, and he is also likely to be assigned a studio role. He is one of the candidates for the host of the game’s studio show.
#7 Jesse Palmer
Jesse Palmer, a long-time football media personality across several networks, including Fox, CBS, ESPN and ABC, is a new addition by EA Sports to the video game series.
He is likely to be assigned a studio role in the game. With David Pollack also likely getting the same role, they could bring back the memories of “The Palmer and Pollack Show.”
