East Carolina vs NC State opt-outs and injury report: Top players not participating in Military Bowl

The Military Bowl will be played on Saturday at 5:45 p.m. EST. It will feature the East Carolina Pirates and NC State Wolfpack. While it should be a competitive game, neither team will be at full strength because of opt-outs and injuries.

Cornerback Shavon Revel is out for the year with a knee injury after only playing three games this season.

Kelan Robinson

Wide receiver Kelan Robinson has been dealing with an undisclosed injury and is questionable to play.

Brock Spalding

Wide receiver Brock Spalding is questionable to play in the Military Bowl because of a knee injury.

Javious Bond

Running back Javious Bond is out indefinitely because of a knee injury.

East Carolina opt-outs

Chase Sowell

Starting wide receiver Chase Sowell will not be available for the Military Bowl. He entered the transfer portal and signed with Iowa State.

Isaiah Brown-Murray

Starting cornerback Isaiah Brown-Murray entered the transfer portal and signed with Virginia Tech. He will not be available.

Zakye Barker

Starting linebacker Zakye Barker will not be available after entering the transfer portal. He has not signed with a new team yet.

CJ Mims

Defensive lineman CJ Sims played 339 snaps for East Carolina this season. He will not be available for the bowl game after transferring to UNC.

KC Concepcion

Starting wide receiver KC Concepcion has entered the transfer portal. Although he has not signed with a team, he is not expected to play in the Military Bowl.

Red Hibbler

Defensive end Red Hibbler entered the transfer portal and signed with Mississippi State. He played 84 snaps this season.

Jayland Parker

Linebacker Jayland Parker played 68 snaps this season but will not play the bowl game after entering the transfer portal.
