Emeka Egbuka is a collegiate football wide receiver for the Ohio State Buckeyes. Egbuka spent his formative years in Steilacoom, Washington. Egbuka attended Steilacoom High School, where he earned the title of Washington Gatorade Player of the Year as a junior. Emeka Egbuka was rated a five-star recruit at the end of his high school career.

In January 2021, Egbuka enrolled at Ohio State, opting to forgo his senior high school season due to the COVID-19 pandemic. As a freshman, Egbuka played 11 games. During this period, he caught nine passes for 191 yards. He also returned 20 kickoffs and amassed 580 yards. These performances led to him receiving honorable mention recognition in the All-Big Ten Conference.

As of 2024, he has accumulated 60 receptions for 743 yards and 9 touchdowns. He has also received several honors including Second-team All-Big Ten in 2022, two times Third-team All-Big Ten in 2023 and 2024, and in 2024 he received Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week honor in week six of 2024.
