This is the first time that GameDay is being hosted at the University of California. The Golden Bears, who are 3-1 so far this season, will take on the undefeated Miami Hurricanes at home. While California enjoys its open week, Miami secured a thrilling victory over Virginia Tech in week 5 to maintain its winning streak.
The California vs Miami week 6 showdown will be the first time since 2008 that both these teams faced each other. In that match, the Golden Bears emerged victorious with a 24-17 victory. However, the Hurricanes lead the rivalry series 2-0.
