Evan Stewart is one of the standout wide receivers who recently joined the Oregon Ducks for his junior year of football. He started his high football career at Liberty High School where he was also a member of the track and field team. Stewart was the third-ranked player in the 2022 recruiting class and was rated a five-star prospect by all major outlets. In his junior season, Stewart caught 46 passes for 913 yards and nine touchdowns. He concluded his high school career with 111 catches for 2,157 yards and 21 total touchdowns.
Coming out of Liberty High as a five-star prospect, the nation’s No.1 wide receiver started his collegiate football journey with Texas A&M Aggies over offers from Alabama, Auburn, Colorado, Georgia Tech, LSU, Michigan, Minnesota, and several other Division I schools. In his freshman season with the Aggies, Stewart played in 10 games recording 53 receptions for 649 yards and two touchdowns on the season. Last season, the Frisco native saw action in eight games with seven starts and caught 38 receptions for 514 yards and four touchdowns. After spending two seasons with the Aggies, Stewart transferred to Oregon Ducks for his final two seasons of college football.
